Oxford Aviation Academy's Moorabbin training centre was established in 1968. The centre has excellent facilities and resources such as a simulator equipped ground school, a fleet of up to 39 aircraft and more than fifty professional staff.

Qantas Airways nominated Oxford Aviation Academy as their only Victorian based pilot training provider, thus acknowledging the quality of the training delivered to OAA students since 1992.

Thousands of OAA's graduates are currently employed as flight crew in Australian and overseas airlines, including Qantas, QantasLink, Virgin Blue and Vietnam Airlines. After they have gained Airline experience as First Officers, many of our graduates have been successfully promoted to the left hand seat, gaining their command.

OAA has many important customers from Jetstar/Jetstar Asia, Qantas, QantasLink, Oman Air, Vietnam Airlines, Virgin Blue and Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department. Our university training partner is Swinburne University.

Oxford Aviation Academy's impressive training record includes:

• Training more than 50 Hong Kong CAD Air Traffic Control Trainees to PPL
• Conducting Flight Engineer to Pilot training conversion for Ansett Airlines
• Training international and domestic students, graduating over 300 qualified pilots a year
• Developing and running Australia's leading aerobatics school
• Training more Flight instructors than any other civilian training facility, including training for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and former Bureau of Air Safety.
