Crew Resource Management

Description

The course includes training in Human Factor and Crew Resource management in achieving safe and efficient operation with specific focus on situation awareness, communication and stress.Team work and role play will be performed.

The course covers the following topics:

Introduction

Team-building, leader-ship, attitude, personality awareness, human error and reliability, company safety culture.

Communication

Effective communication and coordination between all crew members including the flight crew as well as inexperienced cabin crew members and ground services, cultural differences.

Stress

Stress management, workload management, passenger stress and fatigue.

Decision making

Leadership, delegation, co-operation, synergy, individual and team responsibilities, actions and assertiveness.

Situation awareness.

Vigilance, alertness, error prevention and detection, information acquisition and processing, crowd control.

Duration

1 day, or by agreement

Prerequisites

Cabin Crew members.

Conditions

The course meets the EU-OPS requirement.
