Refresher Training
Oxford Aviation Academy offers a range of Refresher Training courses that allow a pilot to renew a licence that has expired. The applicant must meet the Refresher Training requirements of the appropriate regulatory authority that issue the licence and must complete a Licence Proficiency Check (LPC).
OAA offers three standard Refresher Training courses as specified below. We can also customise according to customer needs and requirements.
Refresher 1
This course is recommended for a pilot with a type rating that has been lapsed for between 6 and 18 months.
- One Full Flight Simulator session
- Licence Proficiency Check
Refresher 2
This course is recommended for a pilot with a type rating that has been lapsed for between 18 and 30 months.
- Technical training for two days as CBT
- Performance mass & balance self study
- Two Full Flight Simulator sessions
- Licence Proficiency Check
Refresher 3
This course is recommended for a pilot with a type rating that has been lapsed for more than 30 months.
- Technical training for four days as CBT.
- Performance mass & balance classroom instruction
- Three Full Flight Simulator sessions
- Licence Proficiency Check
